Technology & Methodology

The project that took 7-8 months, was divided into 4 phases for execution, and was done entirely on the Arc View platform using the digital base map provided by the customer. A special team was set up for this project. It comprised 25 CAD operators and 3 Quality Control Operators. This team was trained on the details of the coding and was thus well prepared to take on the task set upon them. The Quality Control Operators ensured less than 1% error on the maps. For this purpose a QC program was supplied by the customer and along with detailed print outs of the digitized map, the team was able to ensure a good quality output.

Key Success Factors
Efficient digitizing process, ensuring almost 100% error-free output · Training was imparted to the team of CAD operators to ensure quality output · A dedicated team ensured that the project was completed 3 weeks before schedule.
